Bane Strategies’ President, Yeseñia Bane, has been involved in politics and government for over 15 years.  Most recently Yesenia served as Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Tom Wolf. In this role she acted as Governor Wolf’s primary point of contact for the Departments of Transportation, Community and Economic Development, Agriculture, Labor and Industry, and Education.  Yesenia’s portfolio also included the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission and Philadelphia Port Authority. Responsibilities included working closely with Cabinet Secretaries and their executive staff on agency operations, including policy and legislative initiatives.

In her role as a key economic advisor to Governor Wolf Yesenia oversaw the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) and was the lead contact in deploying over $500 million in economic development funding throughout the Commonwealth.  As the lead contact Yesenia regularly interacted with elected officials on the federal, state, and local levels of government.

Yesenia also worked closely on major projects such as Shell’s $6 billion ethane cracker plant and FedEx Ground’s largest warehouse and logistics hub in the United States.  Along with large projects, Yesenia also worked with small businesses and non-profit entities to provide them with support from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Prior to joining the Wolf Administration Yesenia served as Chief of Staff to a member of the Pennsylvania State Senate.  Yesenia also served in the administration of Governor Edward G. Rendell, working in the office of Policy and Planning, along with the Department of Community and Economic Development.

Yesenia holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Albright College, along with a grant writing certification from the University of Notre Dame.
